Our Classes
Fall 2020 Classes
BUE Fall 2020 Classes will run monthly September through December.
At BUE, students will have the opportunity to be engaged in a meaningful, social, healthy lifestyle and skill-building classes Sunday through Friday. Students will have the ability to choose from twenty class hour offerings of 50 minutes each, including such classes as Martial Arts, Yoga, Intro to Photography, Intro to Web Design, Where In The World Are We?, Your Virtual Job, Improv/Acting, Culinary Skills, Early Sports History, Personal Writing, and Personal Finances.
Within those twenty class hours, students will also have free social opportunities such as virtual lunches with all students and instructors, as well as a “Weekly Wrap Up” where several students are spotlighted for their achievements and efforts to learn at BUE. Another big hit with students is the weekly opportunity to show off their talents and/or cheer for their friends along with a skilled instructor at the Karaoke Cave. Each seven-week session even ends with a group talent show!
As part of our commitment to fitness and wellness, a daily group fitness course is offered, including Yoga by a certified instructor, Workout and Wellness, and InnerForce, which is the unique opportunity whereby students can begin working towards or advance a belt level in martial arts. Our InnerForce instructor has been helping students practice mindfulness, gain assertiveness skills and increase their personal safety awareness for over thirty years.
One-to-One Social Connections Coaching is also an option, as well as our course Group Clubs & Activities, where students will be supported to start and lead various student clubs with staff coaching. Our ultimate hope is that students will help to plan and organize our future in-person gatherings. Every Sunday, all students are welcome to join instructors for our weekly Goal-Setting class.
Whether students attend for one or all of out classes, the mission of our highly experienced instructors is to assist students to strive towards their best selves confidently, with a variety of skills and the ease of knowing they will always be welcomed and connected to the our class community. Students may pick and choose individual classes for $300.00 per class. Each class meets weekly for seven sessions.
InnerForce with Sifu Andrew meets twice a week Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15-6:00, for a total of 8 classes in September and 8 classes in October, and is $5500.00 monthly.

InnerForce with Sifu Andrew meets twice a week Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15-6:00, for a total of 8 classes in September and 8 classes in October, and is $5500.00 monthly.

Our CurriculumThis fall, the Blue Umbrella Experience is excited to offer a 4-day week model of online courses taught via Zoom, focusing on social, physical, and educational opportunities.
